For the longest time, I have been resistant to plan out my home lab. This was due to a few reasons. With hardware I did not have faith in, an ever increasing power bill, and friends who just wanted to game, I was afraid to take the steps to be organized outside of work in my servers.
One day, however, I was assigned a project lead role at work for a project with a much larger scope than I was used to. Surprise, surprise, my chaotic method of organization didn't work so well for collaboration or just generally knowing what was going on. So, in an effort to shoehorn in some accountability from my end, I made this blog to talk about my solution research, planning, and execution.
